Peach Cobbler Wheat Waffle

Servings: 8 waffles

Ingredients:

Waffles

Streusel Topping

  • ¼ c. Quick Oats
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Honey
  • 3 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • ½ t. Cinnamon
  • dash of Nutmeg 

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan combine all streusel ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the waffles by combining the Edwards Mill Waffle mix, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, brown sugar, and oil. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Make your waffles in a lightly greased waffle iron.
  5. Stack the waffles and drizzle with Student-Made Peach Fruit Spread. Top with sliced fresh peaches, streusel topping, whipped cream, and maple syrup. Enjoy!
