Fruit Spread Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:
- 1 c. unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ c. honey
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 5 c. powdered sugar, sifted
- 4 oz. of your favorite Student-Made Fruit Spread
- Milk as needed for thinning the icing
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, honey, vanilla, and salt until smooth and lump-free.
- Slowly add the powdered sugar and cream at high speed for 5 minutes.
- Reduce the speed to low and add the Student-Made Fruit Spread. If the frosting is too firm, add the milk 1 Tbsp. at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Serve on your favorite cake, cakes, and cookies. This recipe should make enough to frost a 9 x 13in. cake or 24 cakes.
