College of the Ozarks students work, rather than pay, for their education. At The Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen, students craft mouth-watering fruitcakes showcasing students’ talents as they handcraft each cake using a classic recipe from 1933. What started as a small baking session by a home economics class has turned into a time-honored tradition enjoyed by thousands of people each year.
