1925 purple Carolina Lily quilt from 104 year old Mary Ruth Ferguson's Nichols Hills OKC estate. Her grandfather and father were pioneer doctors in Perkins, OK Territory in late 1800s. Mary's 336 page hard covered autobiography by MJ Van Deventer tells Oklahoma's history and her world wide travels and OKC socialite philanthropic-activities from 1930s on. Beautiful with undulating vine and lily bud border and 1" cross hatch hand quilting @ 8-10 stiches per inch. Excellent condition. 76" X 78" Twin Size
