1925 Rose of Sharon Quilt
Rose of Sharon appliques quilt from Edwin and Nancy de Cordovas Nichols Hill's estate on West Country Club Drive. Likely made by Edwin's mother, Hazel, in Corpus Christi, TX. Edwin was born in 1930. An OU grad with CPA firm and a philanthropist on 20 boards. Obituary and photo included. Beautiful traditional bride's quilt with vine and rose bud border! Diagonal crosshatch, shell, rose and scroll hand quilting @ 9 stitches per inch. Freshly washed with a small stain on the back. Otherwise, excellent condition! 80" X 84"
